About the episode
What do you think makes for success in a relationship? Trust, respect, communication, commitment, compromise – they all sound great on paper. But what about when it comes to trusting your wealth and private family interests in the hands of an advisor?
In this episode, host Narelle Hooper jumps on board a 27-year-old partnership to chat with John Calvert-Jones, the sage of family office SeaFirst Australia. John has been a dynamic force in business, philanthropy, sports, politics, and the arts for decades. By his side is Angela Rutherford, Partner, Family Office at Mutual Trust. In this rare opportunity, Narelle, Angela, and John discuss the ins and outs of setting up the family office, the move to Mutual Trust, and what’s the secret to making a successful advisor partnership stick.
