On Tuesday, 8 May 2018, The Federal Treasurer, Mr Scott Morrison, handed down his third budget (the Turnbull Government’s second of its three-year term), focussing on restraining expenditure, improving the integrity of the tax base, while assisted by a stronger Australian economy to bring the Budget to balance in 2019/20.
